Solution Design

No matter if you want to install JDA WMS as a new WMS, or do an upgrade, you would need a Solution Architect to provide a solution design:

• Sitting down with busineess experts, discuss operations, business requirements and expectations.
• For each business scenario need to be covered, make sure it's documented, discussed and agreed by Operations.
• Painpoints currently happens to the warehouse,and what workaround/solution can be considered.
• Understand all WMS surrounding systems, and inbound/outbound infromation to/from WMS.
• Writing WMS implementation Solution Design document, and get it reviewed, approved by business.

Solution Design usually happens at the beginning of the project, making sure all 'Must Have' items are covered is important for assuging a success project!
